Fellowship 13 Exhibitions currently on view through Saturday, March 23, 2013
Silver Eye Center for Photography is pleased to announce that Diane Meyer (Santa Monica, CA) and Ross Mantle (Pittsburgh, PA) are the winners of the Fellowship 13 International Photography Competition. Now in it's 13th year, this juried competition identifies both rising talent and established photographers from all corners of the globe and from the state of Pennsylvania. This year's judge was Sam Barzilay, Creative Director, United Photo Industries, Brooklyn, NY.
Diane Meyer (American, b. 1976) is the recipient of the $3,000 International Fellowship Award. She was selected from 148 worldwide submissions for her series Time Spent That Might Otherwise Be Forgotten, a series of images embellished with cross-stitch embroidery.

Ross Mantle (American, b. 1985) is the recipient of the $1,000 Keystone Award for a Pennsylvania artist for his series California, Pennsylvania. Drawing inspiration from the structure of short stories and the classic genre of the road trip, Ross's various journeys took him from the town of California, Pennsylvania to the state of California itself.
