Yael Malka is a New York based artist who holds a BFA in Photography from Pratt Institute. Recent solo shows include Almost Touching at The Rubber Factory, and Where’s the Invitation at The Leslie–Lohman Museum. She has been a part of group exhibitions at The Brooklyn Museum Library, Philadelphia Photo Arts Center, and Sikkema Jenkins, among others. She is a co–founder of the artist initiative Memory Foam which curates exhibitions and live events with artists. Spring Sprung belongs to the series Almost Touching, which investigates intimacy and touch among friends, strangers and lovers.
