Shadow Work
Gemini season is here, and the Strawberry Moon will soon rise. Mercury is still out of retrograde—for a little while longer. But with darkness on so many horizons, the encroaching storm has us thinking about the spaces where light and darkness connect, shift one another, overlap, and the gloriously complex voids created within the shadows.
The Lab @ Silver Eye invites you to join us this Friday, June 6, for Shadow Work, a pop-up exhibition of images that explore our shadow world.
Throughout the month of May, we asked our audience to submit their photographic interpretations of Shadow Work. We received over 300 images that illuminate the intersections of light and shadow—spaces that reveal hidden truths, inner journeys, or unexplored mysteries. Whether personal, political, psychological, or metaphysical, these images capture the unbearable lightness of being, the quiet pain of holding onto hope, and the transformative alchemy found within darkness itself.
