The Radial Survey, Vol. 2 catalogue is here! Designed by Studio Elana Schlenker, and made possible in part through generous funding from The National Endowment for the Arts this new publication celebrates the second exhibition of this biennial survey, which took place in the fall of 2021 and explores the creative and talented artists working in contemporary photography in a 300 mile radius around Pittsburgh.
The catalog features an in depth look at the work of all the Radial Survey Vol. 2 artists: Ryan Arthurs, Nakeya Brown, Anique Jordan, Njaimeh Njie, Jay Simple, Raymond Thompson Jr., Hannah Altman, and Nadiya I. Nacorda.
The catalogue also several essays and contributions on some of the larger themes the exhibition including essays by Liz Park, Richard Armstrong Curator of Contemporary Art at Carnegie Museum of Art, Pittsburgh, Anita Bateman, Associate Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and Kate Kelley, Deputy Director of Silver Eye Center for Photography.
