Over the past 10 years, baseball has played an important part in Joyce’s photographic life, with images relating to the game showing up in various projects during that time. Drawing on his love for the game which he shared with his late father, these images show how ubiquitous baseball can be in day-to-day American life. They are taken from three projects shot in New York, Pennsylvania, and California, and arranged together to show what was lost and how remnants can crystallize in time.
